As a person who's sat in on many sessions outside of my knowledge base and expertise, I really appreciate it when speakers start with a simple framework that encapsulates their message and then like a Polaroid developing (yes I saw what you did there. :), the pieces fall into place as they expand their story. Wonderful article JD. You open the oyster shell to reveal the pearl of useful and usable public speaking knowledge so well. :)
